Be crazy honest with your truth,
For honesty is surely couth,
Be candid with each thought and word,
Leave fiction for the most absurd.
Be crazy honest how you act,
Discard the fake, embrace the fact,
Be earnest in the things you do,
Take ownership of all that’s true.
Be crazy honest how you see,
Don’t open wounds you cannot free,
Be thoughtful how you treat the one,
Enveloped by your blazing sun.
Be crazy honest here and now,
I have no time for why or how,
Just treat me right and you will find,
I’ll be an ally in your mind.
Be crazy honest with your trust,
For loyalty is such a must,
So honour precious core beliefs,
And leave behind those pesky griefs.
Be crazy honest from the start,
And please be gentle with my heart,
Just be who you were meant to be,
Be crazy honest here with me.

This poem is the fourth in a series of prose about boundaries, which are essentially conversations with myself. Yet another homework assignment from my clinical psychologist, designed to help me recognise my own personal boundaries so I can form healthy relationships moving forward.
